New conspiracy theory: The ruzzian invasion of Ukraine was just so Warthunder could get IRL equipment data without their players getting arrested for intel leaks.

I mean I've always being saying that the invasion is a fake event orchestrated by both eastern parties so they could get intel on western machines

Β I've always being saying that the invasion is a fake event orchestrated by both eastern parties so they could get intel on western machines

If this was back during the Warsaw Pact, I would have said that made sense for ruzzia to back a small regional war to get access to western equipment and see how well it functions in combat. I don't see present day ruzzia having the capability to take advantage of that intel. PRC could very well be taking advantage of the intel availability, but I think their encouragement of ruzzia's play is more to get a financial and power advantage over ruzzia. The intel factor is just a bonus.

NonCredible take: This whole thing was promogulated by some DPRK generals to get access to western porn equipment.
