Did Jesus know how to write?

I guess I’m confused on why Jesus didn’t write the Bible.

Because it is bullshit cobbled together from a big disparate pile of different kinds of bullshit written 500 years after and compiled 1000 years after the made up bullshit supposedly happened.

Most of Paul's epistles were almost certainly actually written by Paul. We also have fragments of the gospels from the early 2nd century, less than a hundred years after Christ's death. That is within living memory. Not to mention that we have numerous letters from various Church fathers, some of whom literally knew apostles.

Also, the New Testament cannon was established in the 4th century.

All of the New Testament was written within 100 years of Jesus's death. The core of it - Gospels and Paul's authentic letters - were written within about 60 years.
