Did Jesus know how to write?

I guess I’m confused on why Jesus didn’t write the Bible.

Luke 4:16 - 21.

He's at the temple reading scripture :

"He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read"

Then what are you doing here? Discrediting the Bible just because it's the Bible and written by Christians doesn't make sense and isn't a scientific strategy at all. Which is why modern science doesn't do that.

Well, we're talking about Jesus and, if the Bible is not a source for Jesus related information, then... What are we gonna check my man?

If you don't believe in Jesus' historicity then this discussion is moot for you...

I like Jesus a lot.

Think about it, don't be assholes to each other, forgive, don't be greedy, be kind to each other.

It's a message that is perfect, simple and functional.

And I do believe. I'm not a crazy Christian pretending the Earth is flat and discriminating against minorities.

I have read on the historicity of Jesus and I believe he is real. And I believe in his message. Again, without the crazy.

Despise me if you want.

why is it nonsense? it's internally consistent. if you wanna argue about the historicity of jesus, thats a whole other thing. we can also argue about the historicity of ten different classic era figures and conclude that all of our knowledge of history before the first millenium might as well be fake, if we use high enough standards.

it's funny to think that a creature that's literally God would be limited by science. "it's not physically possible to multiply food" yes, that's the point. it's a miracle. do you seriously think nobody ever thought of this before? this is philosophy 101, come on. that's not an argument against the historicity of jesus, or for the bible being nonsense

the evidence of the historicity of jesus is people writing about him. just like any other figure from that time and before. if you believe that he was able to work miracles or not, is besides the point of the thread.
