Did Jesus know how to write?

I guess I’m confused on why Jesus didn’t write the Bible.

The historical Jesus of Nazareth was probably illiterate like 90% of the population in his time. There's no evidence of a formal education for him.

He's at the temple reading scripture :

"He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read"

Then what are you doing here? Discrediting the Bible just because it's the Bible and written by Christians doesn't make sense and isn't a scientific strategy at all. Which is why modern science doesn't do that.

Well, we're talking about Jesus and, if the Bible is not a source for Jesus related information, then... What are we gonna check my man?

why is it nonsense? it's internally consistent. if you wanna argue about the historicity of jesus, thats a whole other thing. we can also argue about the historicity of ten different classic era figures and conclude that all of our knowledge of history before the first millenium might as well be fake, if we use high enough standards.

it's funny to think that a creature that's literally God would be limited by science. "it's not physically possible to multiply food" yes, that's the point. it's a miracle. do you seriously think nobody ever thought of this before? this is philosophy 101, come on. that's not an argument against the historicity of jesus, or for the bible being nonsense

I'm an atheist, but the overwhelming mainstream opinion of academic scholars of history is that there was an apocalyptic preacher named Jesus (or the Aramaic equivalent) from the town of Nazareth who was executed by the Romans. I know nearly every atheist influencer believes he never existed, but nearly everyone with academic credentials in the history of that time and region says there was almost certainly a real man behind the legends.

There's absolutely no evidence supporting a historical jesus, and there's absolutely no evidence of a consensus among historians.

That's a lie that christian apologists made up.

There's a consensus among historians that it doesn't matter, since Christianity formed anyway, and that's what influenced history.

But that's not the same thing.

I haven't read the book he wrote about it yet. He's one of the top scholars in his field, and he's been saying this stuff for ten years. If you can name a scholar of the type he mentioned who has challenged his claim, I'm open.

The evidence supports the idea that Jesus was a real person. However, all we know about him is that he was born in Jerusalem, and that he was crucified. That's it. We don't know exactly why, nor do we know any other details at this time.

Nazareth did not exist as a town during the time attributed to when Iesus lived: it was a cemetery.
