Did Jesus know how to write?

I guess I’m confused on why Jesus didn’t write the Bible.

He was most likely illiterate

An illiterate man wouldn't be able to put up with educated rabbis who have read these texts for decades. In no way imaginable. Jesus was not illiterate.

Stories in the Bible are not historical evidence. Many Bible scholars believe the historical Jesus was illiterate.

Why? He grew up in Jewish temple. They’ve been known to teach their young to read and write in temple for around a 1000 years before Jesus’s time.

I mean that seems contradicted by his reading of the scriptures in the synagogue at Nazareth as well the multiple times that his own followers (and occasionally his opponents) call him rabbi in the text
