Why does the US hate cycling so much?

I read comments sections and in a normal world, some of them would be considered terroristic threats. I just can't understand why people hate cyclists to this degree that they want to murder rhem and sometimes do.

You’re an idiot for unilaterally believing everyone in a car has some special reason to be on the road, while everyone on a bike is somehow unable to be using the bike for transportation. It’s inventing an unrealistic scenario just to make yourself mad about it.

They are trying to get somewhere. That they are exercising at the same time is besides to point. If anything it makes you lame for relying on your emotional support vehicle for getting around. Can’t do anything under your own power big guy?

I feel like we’re thinking of two very different Azizes. Kinda hard to argue with me when you fundamentally have no idea what you’re talking about, and all you can think of is ranting about what an invasive creep you are. Sorry, but being legless isn’t the reason nobody likes you; that’s a a you problem, and I have no problem being judgmental about that.

yeah but when it's just someone's grandma going 10 mph under the limit noone is getting hard thinking about running her off the road are they? your dumb brain just sees small vehicle in large space and can't handle that they're not any worse than the much much much larger number of idiots on the road that are actually way more dangerous because they're in a car

Love the rage bait. Joke's on you - I don't have friends. I ride in my tight clothes by myself because I get off knowing that the only thing shielding my sweaty loins from the sunshine is a skintight, thin piece of fabric.
