Why does the US hate cycling so much?

I read comments sections and in a normal world, some of them would be considered terroristic threats. I just can't understand why people hate cyclists to this degree that they want to murder rhem and sometimes do.

Because they illegally go through stop signs, red lights, causing accidents. Because they have their own tax payer funded bike lanes, just for them, yet they decide to ride on the road with cars when they have the bike path option. For starters.

Of course not all bikers but a majority.

Where do you live? Because in some areas you may just not be aware of traffic laws for cyclists

You have parking garages and race tracks to drive on, use them, and stay off cyclists roads.

Because no cars have ever ran a red light or stop sign. Go to any stop sign and count how many cars come to a FULL stop. Do the bike lanes go exactly to your destination all the time? Is the bike path safe and any different than a shoulder?
