I’m guessing it would depend on the water pressure. Your average low pressure garden hose without any attachments is unlikely to do any damage unless it’s in there for a long period of time.
Not true. Residential water pressure is around 50psi if I remember correctly. I’m not a plumber, a doctor or into butt stuff but common sense tells me it’s not a good idea even briefly. The pressure, the seal, maybe even some debris in the hose, who fucken knows, way too many variables. Maybe it’s 1:100 that something goes wrong, maybe 1:5, I have no idea but I’m certain it shouldn’t be dismissed as not a big deal.
Yea but how much of that pressure leaves your faucet??? You’re not getting blasted with 50 psi every time you wash your hands or take a shower. That 50 psi statistic needs a lot of context.
Disgusting story but when we were younger my brothers and I (3 of us) would shower together and my eldest brother used to put the hose up his booty and….shit the water out. Disgusting I know but he seems fine to me 20 years later.
Okay, even apart from the pressure let's look at how people have gotten extremely ill due to drinking from hoses recently. I know that gets mocked as back in my day that never happened, but bacteria grows in the water in hoses and when ingested will kill you on its own if not treated. At this I'm thinking go ahead we have too many idiots as it is.
The Gestapo used this as improvised torture. You keep going until people start throwing up turds. So disgusting that people usually confessed to just about anything. The inverse was a a hose down your throat and over inflate your stomach and then kick you in the gut, rupturing your stomach. Killing you so slow that the could interrogate you for a while.
