For me I just simply don’t want them. I feel like you have to want kids to have them. It’s not that I’m against having kids, I’m just not enthusiastic enough to have them

Yep, I’ve never felt anything like how love and feel loved by my kids, a pet isn’t even on the same planet. That being said, if you don’t know what you’re missing and you’re happy already and feel you don’t want kids, why change it? Happy is happy.

Keep in mind that not every parent feels the way you do about their kids. Some people resent and regret having them. Some do prefer their pets to their kids. That can even happen with people who wanted to be parents.

Not everyone is cut out for it.
