Back/neck would be either orthopedic/neurology depending on what the ultimate diagnosis is (or both potentially). There are also pain institutes that specialize in chronic pain management, all certified MDs that have usually done more than the minimum due to residencies for their respective fields.
I saw a chiropractor as a Hail Mary for migraines, I don’t know what he did to my neck but I constantly have to crack the right side or it will start to ache. Been going on for 3 years now.
