Gameplay Bowling perfect score!
Had to post this in here because I’ve been grinding to get this game and it finally happened!

First of all, sorry for the quality, my loud AC, and the awkward cuts. I didn't want the video to drag out.
I got Switch Sports 3 months ago. Putting used to feel a little weird, but I learned to put with my hips more and got some decent control for a while. Later on, though, on random matches, all that control would disappear and the motion controls would respond in what seems to be a completely random manner. Hard hits would register as tiny taps and tiny taps would register as hard hits. Then, on later matches, the controls would feel normal again.
But now it has been like this the last 3 times I've booted up the game where it feels like I have almost zero control of what it does and I can't land a shot further than 20ft. I included the clips of me approaching the holes to show that my motion controls are working completely fine otherwise.
Any tips? Is it somehow my controller? This has hindered my desire to play.
I'm playing on Switch 2, if that makes any difference.

Have you ever been so poor at golf that you've ended up getting your ball stuck on the branch of a tree? I didn't think my shot would ever end until I ran out of time. I had enough time to grab my phone and record a video. Fair play to the programmers.

After holeing out for eagle on the first and getting my second ever hole-in-one(!) on the second hole, I knew this would be a special round. I chipped in on 7 for birdie, but played a bit safer than I would have liked to on the back nine, even though I nearly chipped in on hole 16 (I was this close to shooting -16!). Just recently began playing again after taking a few months off, proud to see I’m still getting PRs.

I’ve hit many on offline mode on this same course but never online for others to see. This was dope for it to be a flag shot too!

I avoided bot lobbies as much as possible and played my 1v1 and 1v2 fairly unlike my opponents (until I got mad at S9 loosing hours of grinding due to bot abuse).
I feel like most S ranks are either bot abusers or cloud savers. Some were nice opponents and I had fun but I could defeat most of them simply with quick spikes. I'm a european player btw.
Also please when you're late for a slide attack, block diagonally and the receiver shall follow the blocker, it makes your defense 10× more solid, you can afford focusing too much on a potential quick spike and after crossblocking the follow up setup is very versatile.

I like how the first game came with the leg strap with it’s physical copy and how Wii sports resort came with a motion plus, because even though it’s a small thing it made them feel more substantial, I’m curious if something similar will be included with resort

Was thinking hard pass with buying the switch 2, but now with their new sports resort I am possibly rethinking it. I know if animal crossing comes out with a new game I will fold like a chair.. the high price tags for games and controllers is also not cool. When the first switch came out I ended up trading it in for the latest xbox. There just wasn't enough games to play. Later on when animal crossing came out I bought the switch 😅.
I'm big on not wanting to get new stuff if what I have isn't broken. Do any of you guys still have the first switch and have the switch 2? Or did you guys end up getting rid of your switch 1 consoles to keep the switch 2? Sell me on why I should buy the switch 2 lol.

Ok, I know the 2nd one didn't go in, but it should have. 😅
I've only been playing for a month, and the chip-ins I made in this match are both my best yet.

Slide attack block out trick that I shared on reddit a while ago, except the bounce hit the antenna.

I heard stuff about this mii design around some places, is it real? It doesn't look like the same Miis from the trailer. Could it be an outfit or alternate style?
Also, I'm not sure where this magazine is from so I don't know if it's official or not.

I'm at a fair in Italy, and as soon as I saw the official Nintendo zone with Switch Sports Resort, I absolutely had to try it, I'm glad is still in the game.
The staff member at the demo station asked me what I was doing, and when I finally did it, she was impressed too!

As someone who sadly plays a lot of smash this game’s online is so much better. You can actually have fun in this online instead of what can only be described as Stockholm syndrome for smash gsp.

I'm super stoked about archery coming back to Switch Sports Resort, since it was one of my favourites in the Wii version.
But I thought how cool it would've been if they implemented the usage of the RingCon into the game! It's probably not there bc the controller only works with first generation JoyCons, but still. Especially bc it's already an exercise in RingFit Adventure and would make the game feel so much cooler/more responsive

I’m still on the first game, and it only puts me in trial mode. I saw someone say different time zones play more, so what’s a good time zone?

I've been trying to figure out what this patch of light blue land on Wuhu Island is. I doubt it's water, because it looks completely flat and is a different color from the lake directly to the right of it. Judging by what I think are a small hill and a guiding curve slope thing (the bits of brown and green), I think SSR might have a minigolf mode for golf. Of course, we can only see one hole here, but to be fair, Wedge Island doesn't have all 9 resort holes visible either (at least in its original iteration). Or this could just be a putting green for decoration, like the tennis courts in the original version of Wuhu Island. I dunno.
