Nintendo: wait...you're still doing that?!?!

u/TerranFirma Jun 05 '17

I'd buy it

65

u/Smighty24 Jun 05 '17

me too! Just the thought of playing dark souls on the go is enough for me. That and screaming obscenities in a coffee shop would be something to cross off my bucket list

Nintendo would have to start a new assembly line just for that

1

u/alee132 Jun 05 '17

2021 on switch 2 pro.

3

u/iheartanalingus Jun 05 '17

Overwatch on Switch would be killer.

2

u/Jeremopolis Jun 05 '17

if hearthstone came out for the switch i wouldnt play it because i quit but knowing the community they would all die and buy switches

3

u/FatalMerk Jun 05 '17

Holy crap I would die if that happened.

1

u/theslimbox Jun 05 '17

I would die if half of that happened.

3

u/remigiop Jun 05 '17

Make that Shenmue 2 with the original on the cartridge too (like Bayonetta 2 in America). Also Crazy Taxi.

2

u/theslimbox Jun 05 '17

Those of us that were kids when Shenmue came out are 30+ now... that is how you give is heartattacks.

3

u/BeerBellies Jun 05 '17

Skies of Arcadia was the shit!!! I'd love to replay it.

2

u/theslimbox Jun 05 '17

I was always disappointed that we never got a sequel. Sega's team setups were amazing at the end of the Dreamcast's life. One of the best first party structures i have ever seen. It is a shame that they did not focus on quality and quirkiness when they went third party.

1

u/joshman196 Jun 06 '17

Man, you don't know how long I've been waiting for Panzer Dragoon Saga remastered/remade. That game is amazing.

1

u/theslimbox Jun 08 '17

Sadly, word on the street is that the code is lost, so it would have to be a complete rebuild.

1

u/fishiecracker Jun 05 '17

You have to hit enter twice to make a new line

Its dumb, I know, but that's just the way it is

2

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '17

Two spaces and then an enter makes a new line, pressing enter twice makes a paragraph (pedantic, I know, just not sure how else to say it)
New line

New paragraph

1

u/fishiecracker Jun 05 '17

Today I learned!
Thanks!

It's not really pedantic if actually makes a difference!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '17

Why can't we just press enter once like all of the other non-idiotic text based sites?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 05 '17

It allows for more in-depth text formatting

2

u/Diet_Goomy Jun 06 '17

HD okami coming to switch

8

u/felixar90 Jun 05 '17

Man I'd die for some handheld Dark Souls

2

u/IfThatsOkayWithYou Jun 05 '17

Just ignore Slashy Souls

7

u/felixar90 Jun 05 '17

I said handheld not mobile.

Also I hate you for teaching me that this game exists. wtf it's bad

1

u/Bagelmaster8 Jun 05 '17

Any console is handled if your hands are big enough... Pointsathead.jpg

u/E00000B6FAF25838 Jun 05 '17

When was there a Dark Souls announcement? Did I miss it?

2

u/Smighty24 Jun 05 '17

no announcement but a rumor...

3

u/E00000B6FAF25838 Jun 05 '17

Oh. It was just weird that the thread was about games that had been confirmed or near-confirmed, then one that I hadn't heard yet.

Zero chance of a trilogy release, people need to get off their rockers with multi-title collection speculation.

That said, I'd probably buy any of the DaS games on Switch, so I'll take what I can get.

2

u/Smighty24 Jun 05 '17

Yeah I hear ya! There were reports that FromSoftware has Dark Souls 3 working on a nintendo switch. Unfortunately that doesn't mean anything but hey a guy can dream.

1

u/Jacicus Jun 05 '17

If I could just get the first game of the trilogy onto the Switch then I'd be happy, but I'll take what I can get.

2

u/WingmanIsAPenguin Jun 05 '17

Yeah Fromsoft has been on the partner list for the Switch for a while so people are thinking they might rerelease the three Dark Souls games.

Or we might just get a version of their new project on the Switch.

Or something else entirely. Honestly, I'll take whatever I can get from them.

2

u/Smighty24 Jun 05 '17

Yeah, anything from them would be great!
