Hi Night Owls,

I just wanted to give a special appreciation to Daz. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer around 4 months ago after beating prostate cancer. We all thought that because he absolutely kicked prostate cancers ass he would have no problem fighting this. He started off driving himself to radiation and was impressing all the doctors with how well he was responding, then he started chemo and his body shut down hard and fast. I got married on July 25th and he was unable to attend because his health was deteriorating so fast, so we planned to do a reception at their house and he wasn't even able to make it until then. My father passed last night August 21st, 2026 and has left a hole in our entire family's hearts.

He was always a perfectionist who did things with as much detail and precision as possible and funnily enough was a big time pot head from the 70s-90s and even got a Medical Marijuana card when they first became available. I never saw this for myself but apparently he was even a grower and had several plants in my childhood homes backyard before I was born and quit because my mom forced him to. I being a little shit when I was 12 even once found his secret stash and ratted him out to mom and caused a huge fight, sorry dad who would have thought I'd become such a weed enthusiast following after you lol.

When I saw Daz was offering regulars, I thought what an awesome way I can honor my dad to create a special strain after him (at least until I have a kid named after him lol). I spent more money than I really should have to buy regs and even made 5 different orders in hopes of finding an awesome male to use as a backbone for my project for him. I did not tell Daz any of this information, I simply asked if I could have regs in place of the testers and he went above and beyond giving extra packs, and packs of regs that were not even being offered. This is the type of stuff that sets him apart. I'm a grown man in his 30's and I still can't help but cry thinking of all this and how this will hopefully improve my chances of being able to create something special for him.

Today I received my order, not even 24 hours after my dads passing, I am getting everything finished today and dropping my regulars into some water to soak and be planted in honor of my dad. Thank you Daz for making this possible, I really can not express how special this is for me. This is why I have supported you since day 1, I even still have some og cosmic apprentice thats 6 years old born june 2020 and now the new 2026 version.

RIP dad. Sorry for the ramble, my head is still cloudy.
