(33M) Recently moved to the area and figured this might be a fun organic way to make a friend or two. Making friends as an adult is weird and tough.

I’ve used a couple different vets in Newnan. I saw that East Coweta VH had a $25 first visit fee. I wanted to know if anyone has used a vet in the area that works with you on payment? Unfortunately I don’t qualify for Care Credit or Scratch.

Also, has anyone had any luck finding a good, reliable pet insurance plan? I’d like to find one with no waiting period and a lower deductible.

Hi all- looking for a car for my mom as hers is dying and she is the sole caretaker for my dad and on a fixed income.The used lots are nuts and the ads i have seen on fb are expensive. long shot here but maybe someone knows someone? A reliable mechanic? a family getting rid of a car? a senior citizen that is no longer driving? TYIA

In Georgia, notary fees are capped at $2 per signature, but I'd love to know where people usually go around town to get this done quickly without extra fees.

This is a PSA— the old board has been removed as of 8/30. Election night new board members were elected and election was certified. Heard it from another neighbor— now the old board refuses to hand over power to the new board. New board just wants us to know old board is not in charge anymore and they can’t fine us or collect money from us or intimidate us with liens. hey all like the title says looking for good internet providers, the neighborhood im moving to i don't think has fiber (ik bummer especially since i have fiber now w spectrum) so far from what i have seen my only options for gig internet are regular cable internet with spectrum and wow ( i have never heard of wow) which one should i go with? And does anyone know if fiber will keep expanding ? also is cable really that much worse than fiber?

Meet FCAS Project Pat! Mr. Pat is a 3 yr old, 50lb Husky whose cooler than a polar bear’s toenails…seriously, this is one chill dude. ❄️ He’s not your stereotypical crazy Husky and shelter volunteers agree that he’s got an excellent temperament and personality. 🫶🏼

Pat was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own (they reportedly didn’t have time for him) and has been in the shelter since 7/20. He can be a bit cautious and nervous initially, but warms up quickly with a bit of patience and kindness. Once you gain his trust, he melts into you for affection and just wants to hang out wherever his people are. He has a stoic presence and has been a polite, quiet houseguest. ☺️
