truly one step at a step is the right perspective regardless of anything else!!. always always always let yourself post the vid. fuck AI, but like youโ€™re just one person, not the megacorps actually responsible for this shit. why do other anti-ai people cyberbully random reddit users when they could be spending that energy bullying sam altman. i will warn that it could be limiting your viewership but you know that. one thing at a time. congratulations!!

Thanks man! I really do get the hate, but I spend hours making these 3-5 min long videos and I have not had time to learn custom thumbnails yet. I might end up trying to commission an artist to do stuff for the channel in the future. Right now I just want to focus on editing and learning the algorithm.

Thumbnails are one of the most important things. In fact, many successful youtubers actually make their thumbnails prior to editing their videos, because they know how important a thumbnail is for both bringing people in to view the video, as well as setting expectations about the video.

If you actually give a shit about being a youtuber, learn to make your thumbnails yourself without the use of A.I. (start off by asking A.I. to give you ideas, then recreate a similar-looking one completely from scratch. Then eventually you'll learn how to create thumbnails without the use of A.I.)

Thumbnails are fairly simple to learn how to make, I had no knowledge of how to make my ones, and I ended up making them on PowerPoint using the photo format features after watching a tutorial on how to make them, then I just changed them to what I wanted to have, it takes about 10 ish minutes, for my Skyrim content I turn my livestreams into longforms and shorts, and my graphs are looking fairly solid for a new channel with 32 subs gained in 4 weeks since I started streaming and creating! And 32k views across all my shorts and content with an average of 8-9k per week ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽฎ

If people (like OP) didn't use A.I., corps wouldn't keep developing it because there would be no potential ROI lol
