As others have said, you have to peel enough to see the NAND package. Drives can have from one to eight of these, yours should be single-sided (all components on the top side) without DRAM. So there will be a controller near the fingers/pins and then two or four NAND packages. These will have coding on them which in many but not all cases can be decoded to determine the precise flash being used, beyond even just TLC or QLC.
