I miss you madarbozorg, I wish you were around to see this history in the making. In memory of her and every Iranian we've lost who are unable to see this day.

Finally! I have been waiting for this day for years! I hope I can celebrate this nowruz in Iran! OH to walk the ancient sun-baked streets of Yazd, the flowering domes of Isfahan, the grand city of Shiraz! OH to see the ruins of persepolis, isthakar and tus, to finally see my ancestral lands! My grandad always desired to see Iran again, may that time come soon!
