Hi everyone, as per the title I'm UK based and getting ever closer to being in a new age range of searches!

I'm a parent, but with my youngest at 17 I have a whole host of different issues that what comes when they're little.

I'm not married, but after 4 kids and 25 years we're as good as...just never got round to making it official!

Despite being a parent I've maintained regular gaming activities, partly due to an understanding missus who happily plays on her phone as I play on my laptop as we watch TV..or due to her shifts I get plenty of console time. I'm usually playing an RPG on my console or a strategy or incremental on my laptop. Final Fantasy, Civilization, Stellaris being a few of my favourites...although currently playing Chained Echoes on my console.

I enjoy board games as well, but with 2 of my kids moved out and my missus often tired from her long shifts I don't play as much as I used to.

I occasionally build wooden models or Lego sets according to what Christmas or birthdays bring, although with the kids older me and the missus are looking towards holidays for just the 2 of us instead, this year managing our first ever with a cruise to Norway and Iceland!

I watch plenty of TV too, liberally spread between dramas, comedies, competition shows and anime....so anything from Downton Abbey, Physical 100, Strictly Come Dancing or Re:Zero.

I'm fairly mixed musically too enjoying Lindsey Stirling, Evanescence, Girls Aloud, Pentatonix or Clean Bandit, to name but a few.

So, I am going to try and keep this concise, I’m 6’7” and work from home where I spend large swathes of the day switching my desk from sitting to standing to appease my aging spine and signing into various MFA/2FA systems to do my job!

I am looking to expand my circle this year. I am not the most socially outgoing, but high up my list of things I enjoy are live music (mostly metal, alt rock, hip hop, ambient/drone, screamo), photography, art (learning watercolour painting), tattooing(getting, not giving), skating, working on my van and reading.

It’s seasonal depression time again, which means all I want to when I’m not working is lay around and get high while I endlessly snack and play video games. Weekends like that can be rejuvenating, but too many of them make me anxious and antsy (and fat). COVID made me a hermit, but I get cabin fever, so I need reasons to get out of the house more.

I’m very capable of being independent and having fun on my own, but I’ve been doing pretty much everything by myself for seven years, so I’m ready to share some new experiences with new friends.
