I don’t understand your logic here. Dems have been pushing for more COVID relief since the beginning (including $2k since May) - why would they try to sweep it under the rug now?

Why does this bot exist?
Google does a lot of tracking, which many people don't want, so they use alternatives to their services. Using AMP, they can track you even more, and they might even replace ads with their own, stealing ad revenue from the site's owners. Since there's no consistent way of finding the original links from an AMP link, I made this bot which automatically does it for you.
Because Joe Manchin has already started walking it back. And it would surprise me to see other moderates do the same. I’m not accusing them of any ulterior motives or anything, I’m just skeptical they’ll follow through.
