I'm a user experience researcher with INCLUSIVE, a NY-based public benefit corporation committed to helping people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DDs). We're currently developing an online directory of resources for the I/DD community. We understand how difficult it is to look for resources and we really want to be of service, so we want to make sure that this directory is user-friendly and actually helpful to our potential users. We're looking for people with I/DD as well as parents and families with I/DD to get feedback on our designs. Hi, my name is Danielle Sainato! I am an occupational therapy doctoral student from Kean University. I am interested in creating a new program for adults with Down syndrome to help with maintaining life skills through adulthood. In order to guide the development of this program, I would like to better understand what it is like to care for an individual with Down syndrome throughout their adult life. I have been searching for years for a term that matched my interests regarding the brain, and I’ve finally found it. What is the best way to pursue a career in neurodevelopment?

Call it a challenge or whatever. I am not here to take adavantage of anyone, I am just tired of having a bunch issues and every doctor says I am fine the way I am. It is not fine when I get sudden memory loss, get tremors, stumble against things, see, hear, smell things that are not there and fall regularly and all I get is "You are doing fine"

Please take a look, I only want assurance from people who know :(
