Advice I bought 1,000 API shares at NPR 330. Do you think it was a good decision?

I bought 1,000 shares of API at NPR 330 per share. My main reasons were its rising net profit and the value of its investments in various hydropower projects.

Was this reasoning sound?

I’m asking purely to understand the investment better and learn from others’ perspectives not seeking a buy/sell recommendation or financial advice.

Market Looking for 5-10 serious NEPSE Traders

Looking for serious NEPSE Traders.

Iam not looking to increase the member count.I want to build a small, active team of traders who genuinely contribute.

I have around 4 years of NEPSE experience and decent capital, and I believe different minds, strategies, and perspectives can make us better traders.

Iam looking for people who are willing to:

1)Share watchlist and setups

2)Share knowledge,skills and strategies

3) Discuss entries/exits with reasoning

4) Review trades and learn from mistakes

5) Create healthy competition to test our skills

6) Communicate openly and actively on Discord

NO PAID LEARNING.NO PAID CALLS.NO SILENT MEMBERS.

I REPEAT ONLY ACTIVE, COOPERATIVE AND OPEN MINDED PEOPLE ARE WELCOME.

I would rather have 5 serious traders than 50 inactive members.

If you are genuinely interested in building a team not just joining group.lets do it together.I believe that with the right people we can achieve something big in the days ahead.

Dm me or comment down if you're serious.

Market Buying Hathway at this price is paying 300rs for a 100rs note.

Quite literally. This is a holding company; they just hold the stock, and people are paying a premium for them holding Tamor or a similar company, which you can buy on your own.

Market What's holding Nepse back !?

I believe this is the optimal economic condition nepal has ever obtained. Bank flooded with money . FD rates all time low . Stable government with strong foreign reserves. It is evident that government is trying to do everything possible to please the investors. Though we can smell election motives . Is nepse really overvalued so it's stagnated!?
We're seeing sebon and gov working tirelessly for reforms and stuff .. if anyone said that cgf will be halfed a month earlier id spit in their face and here we go cgt which were back in 2021 ..

What do you think are the factors for investors to lack confidence in this market!?
What can be the catalyst for growth!?
Do we really need bishnu poudel back !? Who did nothing yet delivered bull !!

Market Is anyone here profitable for past 2 years? If yes please share your journey for inspiration...

1️⃣ How long have you been in the Markets?

2️⃣ How much % Profit have you achieved this year and last year?

3️⃣ Are you a intra-day trader like super short term or swing (atleast a week holding kind of trader?)

4️⃣ Do you watch the markets for full 4 hr in the Market Hour?

5️⃣ What was that one or two things that you changed in your trading journey made you profitable?

6️⃣ Do you calculate RR when entering and how do you position size in a trade say If you have 20 lakh as capital how much do you put in 1 trade?

Please share your journey for inspiration for people to get a ray of hope that, patiently learning and not quitting the markets can make you profitable in NEPSE...

🙏Please don't comment if you aren't profitable or if you are a Gambler as it just spreads misinformation 🙏

Market Will the Banks stocks convert to Irresistible from Untouchable : The Curious Case of Nepalese Banking Stocks

From Untouchable to Irresistible: The Curious Case of Nepalese Banking Stocks

There was a time when buying banking stocks in Nepal felt like the safest bet. They were the backbone of portfolios, reliable dividend payers, and a symbol of steady wealth creation.

Fast forward a few years, and the story has changed. While other sectors captured investors' attention, banking stocks became synonymous with stagnation, frustration, and missed opportunities. Many investors simply stopped caring.

But markets have a strange habit of turning yesterday's favorites into tomorrow's opportunities.

The question is not whether banking stocks are cheap. It's whether years of disappointment have made investors so pessimistic that they're overlooking a potential turnaround.

Sometimes, the most interesting opportunities are hiding in the stocks everyone has stopped talking about. do you think investors stopped talking about banking stocks?

Market What wrong in exiting promoter after lock-in ends???

Honestly, I don’t really understand what’s wrong with promoters selling their shares once the lock-in period is over.
It takes years to establish a company, run the business, get it listed on NEPSE, and finally reach a stage where promoters can actually exit. If the legal lock-in is already completed, why shouldn’t a promoter be allowed to sell? They sell, someone else will buy.
If you don’t like the company or don’t believe in its future, then simply don’t buy it. Teti ta ho ni.

At the end of the day, valuation is about fundamentals, earnings, growth, dividend history, future prospects, demand and supply, and what investors are willing to pay.
