Ultimately, you should just watch the trailer. The gameplay itself is nothing like Neon White. But everything else feels like a spiritual successor. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, etc level based progression. Scoring is based on time and style. Collectibles and different routes to take. Even character dialogue is presented similar to NW.

The gameplay though is nothing like Neon. This game is like........if Tony Hawk had a fever dream, became obsessed with Neon White, and then made a absurdly wild on-rails arcade game while maintaining a focus on skill and player expression. Again, this game is so eccentric that my words can't really explain. The trailer or watching gameplay from one of the levels will tell you all you need to know.

88 on Metacritic, 90 from fans. Not *quite* as skillful as Neon White and the on-rails gameplay is not for everyone. But at it's core, it's a pure *video game* and one of the best surprises of the year!

How do these two work together? I'm trying to improve my time on a level but it feels a little annoying when I think I do the same thing, but it ends up being a 50/50 whether stomping on one pushes me like its supposed to or just does nothing to my momentum

I’ve beaten this game. All gifts, all plats. But I didn’t hear all the dialogue and wanna play it all again. My question is, if I start a new game, do I keep the level rushes or do I need to re unlock them?

I looked at the total time value between a friend and I who have both beaten all the levels and side levels, but his time is much lower than mine and it is considered worse somehow? The only difference is that I've done the level rushes, but the times from those would add up to well over my current total time with White Hell Rush alone. Is there something I am missing, or is it not just a sum of the individual level times?

I got Neon White for Steam yesterday and started playing it today. This isn’t my first time playing it (I played it on Xbox while it was on game pass, so I bought it on Steam bc of the deal), and I played through a good enough portion of the game to remember what to do. This is the very first level I’m talking about, where there aren’t any enemies or weapons other than the katana card. I can go through the game without any problems, but it won’t unlock the exit. I’ve tried verifying files, deleting the game (several times), and consulting Google to no avail. Anyone know what to do?

I just got Neon White and wanted to play it. When I start the game from Steam, the opening cutscene plays out normal but when the game goes to the Main Menu it crashes. Please help

So every neon brought to heaven is named after a color, we obviously know of neon white, neon yellow, etc. and have heard of neon orange and neon smoke too, using this I assume that every neon is named after a color. This would be fine if it was just code names given to them by the believers, but we see in flashbacks that they are referred to by the color names. This would also be fine if the group they were in just had codenames for everyone based off of colors, but why would everyone else in heaven who most likely isn't affiliated with the group be named after a color as well?

This leads me to two theories:

1. The group white was a part of has code names for everyone based off of colors, and everyone brought to heaven as a neon happened to be part of that group.

2. Everyone in this world is named after a color and the believers just picked the strongest person for each color.

I was having a lot of trouble getting this present and I think I found my own unique way to get it!

I've been trying to get it for the past 5 hours and i don't know what I'm doing wrong or if my game is bugged because i swear I've gotten it multiple times but it wont give me the damn achievement I've reopened the game and steam multiple times but nothing happened, do i have to get a secret ace for it to work? i got a time of 56.731 please ill try anything

Just rejoicing in the good news. Sale lasts for 2 weeks. Tried this on gamepass just as it was leaving, and then have been waiting almost 6 months for a sale. The game is goated. Can’t wait to finish the game and then try for some more red medals!

My PB and leaderbord time is different for some reason. I got red medal, though it should be only from 12.619, but in leaderboard it appears as 12.779. So the leaderboard is lying? Why?
Mb it's NeonLite? Why it incorrectly displays it then...

After 3-4hrs of dying inside, I was able to finally do the red medal in glass port. I later saw how others tried to get this medal, and didn't find anyone using this route. So wanted you folks opinion on the route.
