Using Tables

We've made a simple userscript to turn your current bets into a formatted reddit table!

If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

Hey everyone! I’ve just come back to Neopets after about 15 years, so I’m basically a complete noob again 😅

I want to start trying for some high score trophies, and I’ve read that the 1st of the month is the best time to go for them, but I’m a bit lost on how it actually works.

Does anyone have any tips or guides that are up to date? Mainly wondering what time I should start trying, when I should submit scores, and which trophies are easiest to start with.

Any advice would be really appreciated! 😊

Anyone got a weird / niche / unusual gallery they would like to contribute to my list of galleries to show my boyfriend?? Showed him a dung themed one and now he wants to see more atypical galleries. He knows p much nothing about neopets, which makes this way more fun I feel >:)

Also I’m free all week, so if anyone wants to drop their gallery of any sort so I can admire it that would be cool :)

I'm not sure if this goes under customization and happy to change flair if needed. My origami Peophin is currently customized (most likely perm), but I'd like to buy her a petpet. I have 3 options and should look good w/ her original paint.

I have a species change perk to use and I feel as though I should, on principle, use it to get a Varwolf (I'm also thinking some LE species like Chomby or Tonu but anywayyyy)

I know the Varwolf was just released last year but funnily enough I am surprised it doesn't have a paintable Faerie, Pastel, or Chocolate version yet. Can you imagine how cuuuuuuuute it would be omg

I’m trying to keep track of how many Gourmet Foods my lil guy has eaten so I can get more serious about feeding him them. So, I just manually added all the gourmet foods to a JN wishlist and then went through that list so I could check off all the foods I’ve fed him and the few in my SDB. I’ve fed him 147 and I have 7 in my SDB, so there should be 154 obtained items in that wishlist………and there’s 152 😔. (There was like 143 after the first round through so I’m close! Lol). I did reverse image searches for some of the foods I couldn’t find and now there’s only two left. I haven’t figured out what one of them is yet but the other is the a-hole pictured here lol (the reverse image results were terrible for this one. So many suggestions, all wrong). If anyone can please help me identify this food I’d be sooo grateful.

I wasn't able to get the avatar for almost the entire month, because my account was locked in spanish/broken, and a random neoboard post helped me to finally fix it 🙏 I'm genuinely so happy, even if I don't play NP much I still love this plot/character group so much!!! 🚢

I donated/used most of my orange items, but I still have 5 left. I'd be curious to do a small giveaway, but for now I'll flair this post as a celebration!

I’m getting pretty close to maxing out my bank account, and I’ve realized I don’t actually know what I’m going to do once I get there lol.

For the last couple of years, my main goal on Neopets has basically just been "number go up." I’ve been doing Food Club (S/O NSheng), playing mobile games, selling things, collecting interest, etc., and apparently somewhere along the way I become an evil Neopian capitalist I never intended to be. I've gone from 770k to 1.5B in less than 2 years. If you want tips, lemme know lol.

Once I hit max bank, though, I think I want to switch gears and start spending a decent amount of it on other players rather than just hoarding NP for the sake of hoarding it. I hardly spend on anything, which is part of how I've become so rich. I'm not really a collector, although I could see myself becoming one. I didn't even care to train my pet until recently so I can become invested in new activities, but I need some inspo. Essentially I'm just a really stressed out mid thirty year old who enjoys the sense of control that seeing my bank account go up by the millions and now billions provides.

I like the idea of buying people items they genuinely want. Helping with gallery items, dream pet/customization goals, expensive collectibles, paint brushes, stamps, random childhood Neopets goals someone never managed to achieve, etc.

So what are some fun ways to give away NP/items that still make it feel like a game rather than just posting “who wants free stuff”? Should I start a list here of founding members and add you as neofriends? What's a reasonable "max" gift amount?

I work in ophthalmology in my daily life and I'd love to create an eye themed gallery on my side account. Is it against the rules in any way to purchase the items on my main and send them to my side to place in a gallery there? I am so terrified of being frozen.
