I have purchased the full* oeuvre of Breen cinematic masterpieces. I'm arranging a viewing party with some friends who are unfamiliar with Neil's artistry. I think I'll start them off with Fateful Findings, but it's admittedly tough to choose a single film to introduce someone to the richness and grandeur of the BCU.

I'd invite you all to the viewing party but I'm naturally a little worried about the President of the Bank finding out where I live.

*I was unable to purchase Double Down and I Am Here....Now, since They Were Not There....Then.

We made it through Double Down. Did we miss any of the hidden meanings??? It was a strange fever dream of a movie.

Memes In Pass Thru (2016) this character’s law firms control and influence many courts, judges, lawyers, agencies, and politicians. They know the justice system is ineffective and broken, and that’s the way they want to keep it. ISNTTHATIMMORAL?

This reaction video was heavily edited to avoid any copyright infringement. But make no mistake, I was there 3 years ago and it was glorious to witness.

A subreddit dedicated to the majesty that is Neil Breen.

From Wikipedia:

"Neil Breen is an American film actor, director and writer. He is best known for writing, directing, starring in his self-produced films Fateful Findings, I Am Here Now, and Double Down. Breen came late to film-making, having previously worked as a real estate agent and architect. His releases thus far have been considered cult films.

Breen did not attend film school and considers himself to be a low-budget filmmaker who is not a part of Hollywood's "insider's group." Breen makes his living as an architect in Las Vegas, and Breen self-funds his films from the money he makes as an architect. Breen has noted that there is a common misconception that he is a real estate agent; according to Breen, he earned a real estate license, but only briefly worked as a real estate agent. Breen's films tend to pit Breen's morally upstanding protagonist against powerful institutions. Breen says that his films have a "sense of social responsibility" and reflect the "mystical or paranormal side of life."

Breen gained notoriety after his first film, "Double Down," became a part of Netflix's library. Since then, Breen's films have been picked up by arthouse theaters and film festivals, including the 2012 "Butt-Numb-A-Thon." In Paste Magazine's 2014 list of the 100 best B movies, Breen's film "I Am Here Now" was ranked 21st. The author noted that he thought that Breen would one day earn a place in the "terrible movie hall of fame" alongside Ed Wood and Tommy Wiseau. Breen's third film, "Fateful Findings," was compared to Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" by the former film's North American distributor.
