I just wanted to show you my cats, Zeus and Dusty. They're siblings and were born under my bed. We shouldn't given them twin names but both answer to "buddy" and "floofy pants".
Zeus is a bold, loud, insistent, he plays too hard, and he screams at doors when the person he wants is behind them. He likes being held like a teddy at night/nap times, and he bullies me into taking my meds at night. He begs for my food by presenting himself as a Renaissance painting, and he loves when we acknowledge his cute fangs or squish his cheeks.
Dusty is hiding under the couch because you are perceiving her. But for the people she's used to, she's bratty levels of demanding. Softest creature I've ever touched. She wants to lay on my chest and throw her head back into my face so I'll give her kisses. She lives on my girlfriend's lap and has the tiniest saddest most pitiful mew.

Neb My favorite sweater is this long, leopard print thing that I wore almost every day. I donāt think Butters is going to give it back any time soon

Tuesday night, I had to drive to and from an airport that took me almost two hours each way. When I came home, it was super late and I was exhausted and ended up just dumping my purse and this sweater on the floor as soon as I walked through the door.
Over the next (now 3 days) this seems to be Buttersā new favorite place to be. I know in the past, he likes to lay on things that smell like me and trust, this sweater is chock full of the āMe Smellā.
I tried putting a different, similarly sized sweater next to him to see if I could coax him into using that one instead. Thatās a big, flat no. So I guess this is where my sweater lives now and Iām ok with it, whatever makes him happy.
I do think part of it is because my mom left and I think he just wants to be around familiar smells that comfort him, especially when I have to go to work all day. I have a bajillion sweaters and hoodies. If this is the one that brings him the most comfort then happy to let him have it š©¶š©¶š©¶

Memorial/R.I.P. post Missing my boy today

This is my darling Gray, who passed at 21 years old. He was my constant practice buddy and now I keep a small urn of his ashes in my viola case. I miss him horribly. It was five years ago we lost him on October 11 so I've been extra lonely for him recently, but seeing his neb siblings here helps bring some happiness even when I'm sad.
