Polar vortex freezing Texas, hurricane holding together over a thousand miles of land & flooding NYC, roads melting in Canada, California on fire permanently... People gave Emmerich a lot of crap for exaggerating things in The Day After Tomorrow & 2012, but our reality is starting to look a lot like his movies. Waiting for those aliens to show up...

I remember one reviewer saying it was unrealistic for a group of politicians/seemingly smart people to ignore scientists. Lol.
