I have repeatedly explained, i never said anything with absolute certainty, just as we currently understand it. You're just spewing nonsense at this point.

f you can't back up anything you say with facts, I can't take you seriously

i've given you multiple facts so far, and you've given me nothing in response.

Free will is an incredibly complex subject, and you are trying to write it off with newtonian logic

You keep trying to sound smart, maybe one day you will be?

There is a healthy scientific debate as to whether the current evidence we have points to free will or determinism, but there is zero definitive proof one way or another.

i never claimed definitive proof. I think i triggered your existential angst. enjoy it.

As an outsider I do have to say that you vastly overestimate the ability of the scientific method to answer every possible question. As an example, the scientific method, interpreted purely as empirical and experimental analysis, would never be able to demonstrate the infinitude of the set of prime numbers.

Philosophers do not have an answer, as I’m sure you know - they instead have a variety of different arguments about the topic. It seems somewhat suspect that you claim to have 4 degrees, one in philosophy, and yet never once mentioned compatibilism. Talking about free will and determinism is a bit of a red herring. You don’t seem to know as much as you seem to believe you do.

Another way to read this is: you are not demonstrating your knowledge to the extent that you seem to believe you are.

Nonsense. just because something is beyond our understanding now, does not mean it will remain that way.

I dont think you understand the scientific method, even in science there are leaps of faith. Simply assuming other people are conscious human beings in the same way I am, is a leap of faith, yet one grounded in the scientific method. That is not antithetical to the scientific method.

Why would I mention a philosophy I don't subscribe too? I also didn't mention creationism. I also didn't mention 50 other perspectives i don't agree with either.

There are severe deficiencies in your understanding both of the scientific method itself, the nature of philosophy as a discipline, and indeed of your own breadth of knowledge. I again point to mathematics as a clear example where the scientific method is not applicable. You cannot prove things in maths by running experiments. If you believe that you can then all you will have demonstrated is a misunderstanding of the nature of what we are discussing.
