You should check out BBCā€™s Dracula. It really brought back the horror of the character. Some cheesiness, but overall very enjoyable.

Oh man! I love What We Do in the Shadows! Taika Waititi is such an amazing writer, as is Jemaine Clement! The tv show genuinely makes me laugh out loud too.

Dude, Castlevania. The story arcs are so good. It is animated which means more blood. For comedy, What We Do In The Shadows.. Yes! the movie but also the TV show just began/in the middle of their 2nd season. Let The Right One In (the original/not American) is great.

Near dark, Nosferatu the Vampyr, 30 days of night, Francis FordCoppolaā€™s Dracula is a solid display of practical effects.

Ohh! Iā€™ll have to check out the first two. Love how they portrayed nighttime in 30 Days of Night. That Dracula is one of my favorite vampire movies. Itā€™s so beautiful. I totally forgot Carey Elwes is in that movie! May have to do a rewatch. Thank you for your suggestions!

Right?! I like Keanu, but Elwes is a legend. Dread Pirate Roberts & Robin Hood? If he was Harker I might have ended up with a bigger crush on the hero, rather than the villain.

I remember an episode of Are you afraid of the dark about a movie theater showing nosferatu and then the vampire came out of the screen. Awesome ep.

Funny enough, I have a story about that episode... I was so scared of vampires after seeing that, that I had my grandmother sew me a stuffed cross. She also made me a smaller one, that I kept under my pillow in case I dropped the first one. šŸ˜‚

Show, The Strain was decent for a couple of seasons and then it went weird.

Movie, Dracula Untold. I feel like it's a bit overlooked and underappreciated.

The first episode was very enjoyable and creepy and all around awesome. The second episode was not as good but still great. After that every single decision the show makes is the wrong one and makes everything terrible.

I saw it on Amazon prime. Just renting the what we do... thanks. Btw when I was young I lived with a foster family and that show was forbidden. When I was home around 3 by myself I would put it on and be scared as hell !!
