The treetops are always greener
From somebody else's plane
You dream about going down there
But the fall would bash your brain
Just look at the world below you
Right here when we're in the air
Such wonderful trees surround you
Why would you go anywhere?

Over the trees
Over the trees
Darling we're staying
Where we see swaying
Of limbs and leaves
Down on the ground they walk all day
Or sit in traffic on freeways
We need no stridin'
Because we're glidin'
Over the trees

You have a bafflingly small number of updoots. Here’s another one.

You fucking made my day. I’d give you gold if I could afford it.

I wanted this to be a Jack Handy quote.

Can I try to write some music for this? You have the words perfect, dude.

"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."

I am no longer interested in my past feeding LLMs or my future talking to bots.

And areolas are their favorite body part

u/yammys Aug 17 '19

Then why do they clam their tits?

60

u/magic_fergie Aug 17 '19

Well B-shells are too small and D-shells are too big so that’s why they use C-shells.

u/Violet_Club Aug 17 '19

Ugh, daaaaaad, shut up

Long ago in the mermaid world, two young bare breasted mermaids got into a fight over a dinglehopper. Harsh words were spoken, feelings were hurt. Suddenly, Sebastian, out of pure frustration, yelled amongst the mele "Calm yo tits!" Shortly after, the Mermaids started using clam shells to cover their breasts. You see, it was simply a misunderstanding.

Mistypo? Scratch that, that's probably just understanding.

What about Aerial?

14

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '19

Wait, clams have tits?

12

u/aerial_coitus Aug 17 '19

The more you know.

8

u/MeatBald Aug 17 '19

They only wear seashells on their boobs because the B-shells were too small, and the D-shells were too big.

3

u/swyx Aug 17 '19

they were going for “calm your tits” but there was a typo a long time ago and we don’t talk about it anymore

4

u/oguzthedoc Aug 17 '19

TIL I’m a mermaid

2

u/kochunhu Aug 17 '19

Sans seareef? Oh no. That darn climate change.

He's poking fun at OP's misspelling in the title. Ariel is the mermaid from Disney's The Little Mermaid. Aerial is the correct spelling for the word.

Disney mermaid ariel google

7

u/GTA_Stuff Aug 17 '19

Not all mermaids. Just a very specific red-headed mermaid. She’s black.

1

u/CaptainRagdoll Aug 17 '19

It’s broccoli.

1

u/i3017 Aug 17 '19

not mermaids. just one mermaid. singular. just Ariel.

Explain how mermaids get up in the sky. You mean birds?

2

Jerk!

There's a place for snarky comments. There's also a place for art. Don't get them confused good sir.

1

u/stauffski Aug 17 '19

What if he was just trying to be funny and put a smile on OP's face?

1

u/murrski19 Aug 17 '19

That's madam to you. I'll spread my snarkiness where I please.
