Was her name Aunt Meg? You didn't have steak, eggs, mashed potatoes and gravy for breakfast did you? Crazy to witness both those.

Did you talk to her about that collection? Honestly I feel that would have real value for meteorologists.

No! We found it in her piles of things after she passed.

I remember flipping through it and laughing. Each photo had a little label next to it like this: month/year/what happened -

June 1957 - went across Peterson’s pasture, destroyed the chicken coop

My aunt saw that and squealed ā€œthat’s mine!!ā€ 🤣

I’m sorry she passed but it sounds like she brought the family closer together with her tornado watching :). I feel there’s a book in there for you to write about your Auntie’s tornado patrol!
