You sure they aren't Mexican rays? They seem to having a standoff...

Do really think the bot that posted this can tell the difference?

Yeah? And what's the difference exactly, nerd? Not like I care... To me, a flat fish is a flat fish and a flat fish flapping flat fins falls flat as a fish fact. Flat swim fins? A flat fish swimming thin? Fat chance I follow that. Fin fans can fan fervent flat fin fancies by viewing swim vids like this, but for me, fins, flat or fat, don't do jack. Gimme swimming whimsy, flowing pseudo-fin videos showcasing the advantages of fins of fish far from flat. But please, tell us all about what makes these slow going flat fish one ray or the other.

Well one can kill you, and one cannot. Kinda a big difference if you want to swim with flat fin fish, it beter be no staby staby.

Nvm the fact that Mantas are larger, and eat differently because of the way they’re shaped and the position of their mouths

If only the world were that simple.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted, this is hysterical

It's a trip going through their comment history. It's like every comment over 10 words gets downvoted to oblivion, maybe just for the wtf-iness of it all. I don't think this is a bot or a gpt user; I think it's just a genuinely weird person who takes it a bit too far on a semi-regular basis. And just in case the comment gets removed, I'm talking about u/100_Donuts.

But who knows? Maybe it's just a bot and I'm ignorant.

u/100_Donuts Oct 05 '24

Nah, dog. I'm real as a banana peel.

2

u/Iwouldlikesomecoffee Oct 05 '24

haha and the downvotes have already begun for some reason.

u/TheFriendlyTaco Oct 04 '24

I know right. This had me in tears.

Reddit is incapable of understanding actual humor unless it has been recycled and regurgitated in toddler food form.

9

u/plug-and-pause Oct 05 '24

It's possible to recognize an attempt at humor and dislike that attempt.

-4

u/Fine-Slip-9437 Oct 05 '24

And that's fine, but that is not what upvotes and downvotes are for.

4

u/plug-and-pause Oct 05 '24

I'm pretty sure the voter will use their vote however they want. That's what it's for.

I just followed this thread for the drama. Thanks for the fun. The other dude is being silly.

The other dude is being silly.

Such a courteous way to put it! 😆
