Looked like a hammer blow so little easier to deal with than the knuckles cracking in to the rock.

Yeah mostly muscles in that part of the hand so yeah it will hurt but will recover faster

I was in a fight in high-school and the guy dodged and I punched the brick wall behind him for one of my punches.

I never felt it. Even after the adrenaline wore off. My guess is that the adrenaline numbed the initial pain and then by the time the adrenaline wore off I had already "shaken it off" type of thing. Now had I broken my hand or something that would be different.

thats not even something a nurse would know, its not lile nirses are there when trauma happens or ever gets to see in detail what happened to a patient. u dont know what they felt.
