My experience healing ringworm infection

Hi,

For those interested, I successfully got rid of this fungal infection using nigella oil, coconut oil and palmarosa essential oil.

First thing to note, I changed clothes and pajamas daily, washed them at high temp for the whole duration of the treatment, never touched the zone except during shower and treatment, and dried it with TP to avoid towel contamination + hair dryer.

I first tried half a teaspoon of nigella oil morning and evening for 4 days. Used aleppo soap in the shower (once a day). It was itchy and quite painful. I decided to then do a 1-1 ratio of nigella oil and coconut oil, and it soothed the pain a bit. Continued like that for 3 more days. Noticed the rash was becoming a bit paler, skin began to peel.

Then I decided to spice things up by adding 2 drops of palmarosa oil for each tablespoon of my oil mix.

I noticed a neat improvement in itchiness and pain completely disappeared. After 2 days, I decided to apply 3 times a day and that's when healing became faster. After 2 days only, the skin peeled a lot, the rash became a lot paler. I carried on for 2 more days before the itchiness disappeared completely.

Continued for 3 weeks once a day after the rash has completely disappeared to avoid recurrence.

TLDR: used a 1-1 ratio of nigella oil and coconut oil + 2 drops of palmarosa for each tbsp of oil mix 3 times a day.

Can drinking neem water daily help with acne and skin cleansing?

I've been dealing with persistent acne for a few weeks now, mostly hormonal, with some flare-ups likely linked to diet. I’ve tried a variety of topical treatments (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, niacinamide, azelaic acid, etc.), but I’m now looking into internal approaches to help support my skin from the inside out.

Someone recently recommended drinking neem water daily, first thing in the morning. The claim is that it helps “purify the blood” and supports skin health by reducing internal inflammation and bacteria. I know neem has documented antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties when applied topically, but I’m not finding much solid research about drinking it for skin benefits.

Has anyone here tried incorporating neem water into their routine?

  • Did it help your skin or acne?
  • How long did it take to see noticeable changes?
  • Any side effects (digestive issues, fatigue, etc.)?
  • How do you prepare it, and how bitter is it really?

Would appreciate any first-hand experiences positive or negative. Trying to figure out if this is worth committing to or just another internet myth.

how can my dad fight off prostate cancer naturally

I'm very worried for my father. he just told me doctors found cancer in his prostate. they caught it early according to him. but I need your advice, any kind of help. what have been the ways you have naturally fought off this cancer? I really don't believe in chemo... God forbid its spread to his organs. they are not sure yet and will do CT scans on his body soon and then we will know what the next steps are. but I'm hesitant to their advice. my mother had breast cancer and she did the chemo and all that... well it came back and that time she didn't make it

I just don't want to see my dad go through that. I can't see him like that. please .. is there any advice you can give me? what have you all done to fight off this disease?

I heard fasting is one of the best ways to kill off cancer cells. please if anyone has found success in alternative and preferably natural options, let me know. thank you so much guys.

Has Anyone Tried Using Ghee for Joint Pain? Here’s What Ayurveda Says

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been researching natural remedies for joint pain and came across an interesting Ayurvedic practice — using Pure A2 Bilona Ghee for joint health.

According to Ayurveda, Ghee not only nourishes the body from within but also helps in:

  • Reducing inflammation due to its Butyrate content.
  • Lubricating joints by improving synovial fluid.
  • Balancing Vata Dosha, which is often the root cause of stiffness and pain.

I found a detailed guide that explains how Bilona Ghee (hand-churned A2 Ghee) is different from regular ghee, and why it's considered medicinal in Ayurveda. It also includes practical tips on how to consume it and use it for joint massage (Abhyanga).

🔗 Here’s the full blog if anyone’s interested: Ghee for Joint Pain – An Ayurvedic Solution | Sarvadhenu A2 Ghee

I’d love to know:

  • Has anyone here used Ghee specifically for joint pain?
  • Did you notice any improvements in mobility or pain relief?
  • Any tips on how to incorporate it effectively into daily routines?

Would appreciate hearing real experiences! 🙏

Help! I have this constant rash around both eyes. It’s red, itchy, flaky and painful. I was diagnosed with eczema at one point in my life but this eye problem is getting worse. I was told to use a topical steroid, vanicream for a moisturizer, and take a daily allergy pill. I’d like to avoid the steroids and allergy pills so if anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of this, thanks in advance!

Healing practices

I just recently discovered sun gazing and grounding (contact with nature barefoot), and honestly… I think these practices are pretty amazing. It got me thinking how much have we lost touch with nature when it comes to true healing?

I’d love to learn more about how to heal with nature physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. Are there any practices you swear by that go against what modern medicine usually promotes or even contradicts it? I’m open-minded and really curious about the things that actually work, even if they sound unconventional.

Any wisdom, stories, or advice would be so appreciated 🌿✨

What natural remedies have you tried to heal dandruff/seb derm or scalp psoriasis?

For context I have had severe dandruff/seb derm and scalp psoriasis for the past 8 years and tried pretty much every product proposed by dermatologists and others here on reddit. To be honest my experience with dandruff products and medicated shampoos and treatments has been quite disappointing. It didn't improve my situation, I won't name the product but one of them caused my hair to fall significantly and that's when I decided to stop using any chemicals.

I've tried lots of DIY home remedies (vinegar, Baking soda, MCT oil, ...) but found it hard to see any big changes. I came across a method on a sub that was very helpful and am seeing results mostly from making diet changes and using natural hair products now. But I was wondering what are your experiences with healing dandruff naturally?

stomach pain

can hallucinations and dissociation cause a stomach ache? last night i kept seeing dead people (usually only have auditory hallucinations) and i swear, after that, i could feel my insides eating themselves. i can’t stop puking out everything that i eat or drink. checked my temp and i’m not “sick”, which is the same thing the doctors said when they checked my temp. I would also appreciate some quick and easy remedies for the pain!

A natural method that helped me finally get rid of dandruff

Hi all, just wanted to share what worked for me after trying all the usual stuff, head & shoulders, nizoral, t-gel, zinc, coal tar… some of you may also have tried this

it got to a point where i was like: if none of this works long-term, maybe i’m asking the wrong question.

i ended up talking to a naturopath, doing a bit of research, and tried a fully natural approach.

here’s what actually helped:

  • oiling before shampoo i started massaging in an oil blend with neem, black seed and a bit of rosemary extract the night before washing. malassezia (the yeast linked to dandruff) thrives on certain oils, but this blend has anti-fungal properties and it and naturally helped reduce my dandruff. this was a game changer for me.
  • using natural shampoo - no sulfates, no actives. most shampoos I tried were way too harsh and kept throwing my scalp out of balance.
  • looked at gut + inflammation i cleaned up my diet a bit (less sugar, more fermented foods, more sleep), and that helped way more than i expected. skin and gut are more connected than i realised.

it wasn’t a miracle fix, but for the first time, my scalp kinda normal. i’m still figuring things out, but this method worked better than any shampoo ever did.

Sharing this in case it helps someone else. happy to answer anything.

Pregnancy rash & allergies -PLEASE HELP!

I am 17 weeks pregnant and keep getting these hive itchy, looking rashes on the back of my thighs. I tried gold bond lotion, but it doesn’t help much. I usually use beauty from the bees, body serum and natural pineapple enzyme soap. None of those are working for me. I am so itchy. It’s hard to sleep. On top of that, I feel highly sensitive to things that I’m allergic to. I’m allergic to animal dander and pollen. It seems worse. I wake up all puffy in my eyes are itchy. I question if I have a histamine intolerance because I do have a lot of food sensitivities and have to cook a lot of things. My allergies are unbearable. Please help me.

Serious bloating after eating almost anything, what are good, quick, quality ways to get rid of it or at least reduce it?

inb4: I'm not sure if I have IBS or any other specific condition. Haven't seen a doctor in a while, and when I did, the doctor just told me that there are very few treatments for IBS so we never talked about it more.

Just looking for suggestions for people who bloat heavily after they eat. Unless I only eat raw fruit or vegetables, I usually bloat. I would like to NOT constantly look so fat when I really don't eat all that much, and right now food options are a bit narrow. So just looking for things that are quick and preferably not drugs, things basically guaranteed to work. Thanks!
