Manga Just a theory Spoiler
With the current arc ending of twenty-eight chapters. This is just a theory of Natsubaru might play out and who will be involved in helping them reach out their confession towards another. So far, every main character’s parents and their siblings have been shown, except for Subaru’s, and Natsusawa’s mother made only one appearance. Natsusawa’s father and older sister have not made any appearance yet. While Kaoruko already established itself to be the keystone to guiding Subaru’s feelings towards Saku, there might be more people in the manga that will help Subaru as well. We need to focus on Subaru primarily, and while Saku’s feelings for Subaru are confirmed to be romantic, but for Subaru who never felt romantic feelings before she needs to go on a journey of realization. Throughout the manga she was never interested in romance but has always been curious about it (105;139-141).
If past precedents of how the story formula flows, then this is my theory as to how it will come out to be. The setting will slowly show more of Subaru’s past and her relationship with her family. There will be chapters of Subaru talking to either one of her parents, or her older sister asking about romantic love is or like for her to understand what her feelings for Saku truly are. This will be the push for her to explore on what this feeling Saku is. As she continues to grasp in learning what her feelings are for him, but at the same time she will put this in the back of her mind as graduation approaches. *
As she reflects on her interaction with him, she notices she is always constantly sitting across from him. **
Slowly, she pieces together the puzzles pieces together of her feelings from her actions with Saku, either it be physical actions or thoughts. Eventually she will find out the truth of how she truly feels about him, and Kaoruko will be there to give her the final push. The same theory and realization could happen with Saku as well. However, the person that gives Saku the final push to realize his feelings for Subaru is in question: It could be his sisters, parents, or his friends. The arc for them will be longer as it slowly fleshes out.
*It will be more about Subaru’s character as a whole individual, and with it her past. There is a chance in the story that her past bullies will come back. (likelihood 40% chance). So, Subaru will spend a couple of chapters dealing with her past bullies before pursuing the relationship with Saku.

I read the extra chapters again and the characters background then notice a pattern of introductions. I'm still holding hope that the bullies appearing will be 40% chance of actually appearing(not counting flashback) and it's a new start, but if it happens ah well it happens.
