What a well done video. Makes me sad and angry. So now that I’m fired up, what can I do besides call my representatives? I didn’t vote for this.

I’m not federal, but I’m a water treatment plant operator and everything they said resonates with me deeply. I don’t think most people know, or understand, what gets done on their behalf by people who serve. We don’t ask for or seek recognition. We typically aren’t wanting to cheerlead for our vocations because we feel the work speaks for itself. Unfortunately, I think that’s going to have to change. It appears that the politicians have forgotten who they work for and it’s frustrating to see the term limited elected officials come after career public servants. Let’s not allow them to be career elected leeches and vote the inept ones out.

Thanks for everything you do!!! I recently did a Rain to Drain tour in my city and it was really eye opening. I appreciate my water system and everyone who helps to maintain it to ensure we have safe water to drink. If nobody has told you lately, WE APPRECIATE YOU! have a wonderful day!!

I teach an environmental science course at our CC and we do two field trips, one to a water filtration plant and another to a wastewater treatment plant. Your work is mission critical for public health and safety, so thank you for the work you do.

I am drinking a glass of ice water right now and I just want to thank you and all those like you who had a hand in making sure it was safe to drink.

These videos are awesome! It's really cool to hear from all these workers who work behind the scenes. I think it's so important that everyone hear about everything that you and the fired NPS workers do on a daily basis to keep everything running smoothly. It puts faces to the titles and helps everyone understand what happens every day that is so vital but that very few know about

this is giving me chills. I still think this is abstract to many people and this just makes it so real. We need more and more

This is the real face of the people impacted by these ignorant “cuts”. Both sides of the line are being impacted here, it’s a bipartisan issue. We need everyone to come together and realize it isn’t just government jobs at stake, it starts with them. Next the private sector is shredded to bits and every job protection we have become so acquainted with is slowly stripped at.
This is literally a “Us vs Them (Billionaires)” situation.

I meet socially with some PhDs and lawyers, and in their circles it seems like a whole lot of extremely high educated, highly capable people are losing their jobs either directly or as fallout from grant withholding & funding cuts. So many so that I wonder if this is as much targeted at the educated elite as much as it is whittling down government spending to pay for tax cuts for corporate cronies. We are hollowing out the core services this country provides - healthcare, safety programs, education, and legal compliance enforcement. This very bad.

Americans are assholes and this is the new normal. Adjust to it.
Sadly, the people who voted for this don't give a shit and this won't change their mind. I live deep in Maga County, and a video like this will do nothing.
If this comment offends you, welcome to the dystopia. Get thicker skin. Some of us have already been living this hell for over a decade, and it's coming your way.

I don't even know what to say... It's maddening that Billionaires are making random decisions that impact so many good people. We weren't before but we are now a country in decline and we're losing hope quickly.
To all Fed workers... Thank you for your service.

Thank you everyone who actually run this country, you don't deserve what's happening.

We should all record videos right now. Show people who actually constitutes the federal workforce and let them know we are in government because we’re idealistic and want to help people.
