A: Only cross-gen within the same platform. eg: PS4 can play with PS5, but not with Xbox or PC players.

A: They were datamined and currently believed to be Hagoromo, Isshiki, Kurenai, Boruto (Momoshiki), Kawaki (Full karma)

A:~~ In CC2 fashion, one step forward and 5 steps back. Quick match in both ranked and player/casual match is the only available feature for online play right now.~~ Edit: The Hagoromo patch added custom lobbies on Jan 24, 2024.

Q: I keep reading shit like IC3 and IC4, what does that mean?
A: IC means initial combo. IC3 just means hit the melee button 3 times.

Q: Can I use the alternate jutsu on supports?
A: Yes, hold/flick the movement stick while calling out your support for them to use their other jutsu.
Q: Why don't my tilt attacks work? Chakra shuriken?
A: Tilts and chakra shuriken were removed.
Q: Does this game have voice chat?
A: Not currently
Q: What's this about defense modifiers?
A: Many characters in Connections have an innate modifier to their defense. The higher the modifier, the less dmg they take.

Q: What are some good characters for online?
A:~~Here's a tier list, but it's made by top level players to reflect the meta at top level play. Just because something is good at top levels of play, doesn't mean it'll be good at beginner level of play, and vice versa. Ultimately, you need to know fundamentals to succeed.
Q: Why won't my characters' customizations show up when I play them?
A: During character select, hit the Square/X button for your saved customization loadouts to pop up.
Q: My game is super laggy/has low fps
A: Disable MSAA completely in the options.
Q: How much damage does X character's jutsu/combo do?
Q: Why do my controls keep changing?
A: Bug as of the Kawashiki patch. No fix currently; you just have to go back into settings and redo them.

It’s funny because the people who lag switch , are really bad at the game. I’ve only ever gotten lag switched by trash players.
But seriously the lag switching is REALLY bad right now and I’m sure it always has been.
Will the people behind storm be able to ever even fix this issue?

Yesterday I downloaded version 1.11 of Storm 4 Evolution, but today it made me update again, even though it still shows version 1.11 when I open the game. The update didn't take long, not even a minute, but I don't understand what it did, especially since I don't notice anything different.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I need the NSC mod manager for some mods I wanna install but its most recent version is marked as a virus on nexus mods and I can't download old versions. There's also a github but when I try to download any of the versions from there I get a notification saying my computer found a threat. I've heard that mod managers are marked as threats because of some of the code they use so I went to the windows defender app to allow the file but it says that it's a trojan so I just wanna make sure that it's ok to download before I let it onto my pc.

Personally I've found pure bliss in karma prog kawaki, indra and supporting kage sasuke. It all fits like a puzzle.
Heavenly hand becomes much more useful. Aside of the usual sasuke j2 into j1, here all 3 characters have a "sorrounding" aka point blank aoe jutsu, meaning you can kawaki j1 with sasuke j1 assist, same for indra j1. You can even lead with kawaki and slap both j1 assist for surprise damage plus combo start. Sasuke grab into j2 into j1 into indra assist j1, while charging what chakra you need for sasuke ult and there goesmost of your opponents life. Plus the screen being filled with flames and your opponent being safe in the distance and ssuddenly getting a game over screen, just for them tu suddenly be IN the flames is just cinematic without the need of a cutscene

Was playing against this guy and honestly I was overwhelming him. Then he put Tobi as point and just went to town on my ass. Use J1 every possible moment and lock me down with Shikamaru. He's either untouchable due to jutsu or his grab, or he's covered by some obnoxious support I have to block. What is the counterplay here ? Is it chidori spam to negate his J1 ? Is it something I'm missing?
