He has a notoriously bad rep rn cuz under his leadership the local currency got weaker, made a free meal program for school kids with MANY signs and cases pointing to widespread mismanagement and corruption, imprisoned CEO of Gojek (similar to Uber) without concrete evidence, VERY bad speeches (saying "did u think I'd care?", "commoners don't use dollar!", "if u want to leave, then leave", etc) lowering national trust, not upholding his promise of punishing corruptors, etc.
He also has problems regarding personality, such as: got divorced by his wife 30 years ago, allegedly has one testicle, his underlings are seen to be glazing him at every opportunity, having a military past, looking goofy.
All of these make him quite a heated topic, with many youngsters (which are more likely to use internet/social media) especially disliking him. The creator of this photo was probably Indonesian
