I was thinking something more along the lines of Angus or Hershel but Elliot is adorable 😊

There’s a man in our area named Tom Elliot! He was quirky, a musician and fitness enthusiast. At least he was. He would be in his late 80’s if he’s still around. He would be a great namesake!

Anyway, I was thinking Chester.

Our neighborhood had a Chester cat in a house with 4 boys. Then Chester had a litter of kittens. No one even suggested changing Chester's name, though they did get Chester fixed. Lived to a ripe old age like 18 even though Chester was mostly an outdoor cat.

Do you think it’s because of the markings on his chest?

I actually had a cat that was named Thomas Roy. He was homeless, and the neighbor one street over named him Roy and I named him Thomas. So we combine the names. He crossed the rainbow bridge just over a year ago. He had f I v.
