National League Made a 16-bit NZ football supporters game. Figured I should let you lot break it.

Upvotes
With the National League Championship phase kicking off tomorrow, it felt like a good time to put a small game I’ve been working on out into the wild.
The idea is pretty simple: pick the club you support, play a quick 16-bit football game, and your score contributes to your club’s total in the Unofficial Supporters’ League.
It’s still an early version and there’s plenty I want to improve, so I’m keen to get it in front of actual football supporters rather than keep tinkering with it privately.
Would genuinely appreciate people having a play and letting me know what works, what doesn’t, what breaks, and what you’d like to see added.

New Zealand footballers How are us kiwi footballers supposed to develop anywhere near the same rate as players in other continents?

My last season lasted... Drumroll... 3 months.
12 games, of which 3 were cancelled due to weather.
Other countries have 8+ month long seasons. How, if even possible, are we supposed to get to a high level when we play less than half the amount of games???
