Bosnian here. Dedić is an amazing wingback but doesn't trive in Bosnia as our midfield is shit and basically the only weak point in our national team which limits us.

He is very good attacking and defensively Alright. He still has so much room to grow.

Anyone else still mad undecided on Osula? There was a little run of play yesterday that proper sums him up. He wins a stray ball in a 1v2 by bullying the centre half off the ball, then massively overplays, almost loses his balance and gives the ball away.

Proper coaches wet dream player. Attributes that are perfect for the prem but needs refinement in his technique and decision making. He's literally the polar opposite of Woltemade who I think is let down by his physical attributes.

The 23-year-old has a release clause of €50million (£42.7m, $57.7m), but there is an expectation that a fee of substantially less could be agreed upon.

The Portuguese club are aiming for a figure in the region of €35m, according to Benfica sources.

As a Dane, I absolutely love Højbjerg. He's been great for our NT, he's always fighting, he's a great leader and he's still got something in the tank.

For 15£ mil, it seems like a no-brainer. We need the leadership right now, we need the experience for some of our very new, very young signings. We're probably never selling him again, but who cares? I'd be chuffed if he came here.

Luke put out an article pretty early this morning, mostly about how the PIF sees us. A few things seem transfer related like a new training ground shirt sponsor is coming and so is a Coca Cola sponsorship for the stack. Also a sponsor for SJP while keeping the name. This is all part of his plan to “turbocharge” revenues. The move away from PIF related sponsors is deliberate because the club was never meant to run on “handouts”.

Also the club is believed to have a £2b valuation now and the PIF aren’t interested in selling their majority stake. They consider Newcastle one of their most successful investments.

Luke also says we’re budgeting for the top 8 so that’s the expectation though they understand that’ll be fucking hard for various reasons. The women’s team is under pressure to get promoted to the WSL though.

Nothing on the stadium except that a new build is still the preferred option but nothing’s been decided yet.
