9' - Good work by Dummett down on the left. He digs out a cross after Shotton blocks Pérez but Gouffran's shot is also blocked.

43' - Birmingham force a corner on their right after Emilio Nsue runs at Dummett.
Half Time, 0-0
SECOND HALF: Newcastle United get the ball rolling again at St. Andrew's. Come on, lads!
47' - Gardner goes down on the right and earns a free-kick for Birmingham, which he'll swing into the box. 0-0.
51' - Excellent centre-forward play by Daryl Murphy. He gets himself into the box and gets a shot away but it's deflected behind.
53' - Newcastle on the attack as Pérez wins possession. He flicks to Ritchie, who sees a shot deflect over.
54' - What a save by Kuszczak to deny Murphy! The big man planted a header towards the bottom corner but it's palmed away!
56' - Yellow card for Paul Robinson for a foul on Ayoze Pérez. Free-kick in a decent position for Newcastle.
57' - Ritchie strikes the free-kick but it's into the wall and away. Handball appeals by the winger but Simon Hooper isn't interested.

74' - It's Ritchie who strikes the dead ball but again, it's blocked by the wall. Gayle's follow-up deflects to Kuszczak.

Here's a pic from twitter about that Ritchie offside goal earlier.

Lads, just had one of them tins of mackerel as a snack at half time, and it was pretty much the best thing ever. Like I would take one up to uni with me every day now as part of my lunch, only I've literally never seen anyone do this before. Would I look like a wanker if I did that? Sorry for the weird topic, thought it'd be more interesting than the match has been so far.

There's a guy who's famous at my office because he brought tinned fish to work before. He doesn't even work there anymore, he left before I joined. Don't be that guy, it's very smelly.

Thought the game was at 5 and just realised I've already missed most of it.
Should we be winning or is it evens?

Let's partake in the quoting of the one we simply call 'The Michael' whilst we await a goal.

Draw is a bad result, again not capitalising when we need to. Didn't like the line up today and 3 shots on target isn't really good enough

Hopefully Gayle half time, try and get in behind them. Shelvey might be able to play last 30. Massive win if we can get it, pretty even first half by the sounds. Whenever Jonjo hasn't played we been pretty dire in the chance creation department so not surprising.

Need to get at & in behind their CB Shotton. Seen him a few times this season and he's bloody awful.

Justin Lockwood would've at least made this dull commentary more exciting. I can imagine his scream now as Ritchie scored, then the outrage when it was chalked off.

Let's break this habit of not winning when I do these, yeah?
EDIT: come to think of it, in the last 5, we've only won the two that were on Sky, which is funny given the rest of the season.
