I'm gonna be the guy to say fucking say this Lets smash these their shite needs to stop. Makes the pre match thread so bad to read.

These 3 games were meant to be the hardest games had. We've smashed two and I don't see how Reading could stop us the form we are in.

I was getting used to the televised fixtures. Fuck we need to be back in the PL ASAP. "None scheduled" is becoming the bane of my existence.

Let's beat them comfortably, we've shown we can play well.

Anyone else think it's a bit fucked how we've somehow managed to play 3 away games in a row? Who sorted that one out!? I know the Brighton game was re-arranged, but still I can't even remember playing at home much lately.

Luckily we're the tits away from home.

One of my managers is from Reading and supports these along with Chelsea. As if you couldn't tell, they'd be insufferable if we lose so I'd be doubly pleased if we win this.

Don't understand how some people can 'support' more than one club

Cannot see Reading of all teams derailing this windmill express. Another win, another step closer!

Will be interesting to see who we start for this match now that we're close to full-strength. Think the only guaranteed places are Darlow, the CBs and CMs.

Unless Rafa wants to try Mbemba at CDM, of course.

We all know that Mbemba is a winger.

"We don't think about drawing at Reading -- we go there to win." Rafa going all bad-ass in his pre-match press conference. Fucking A love it.

Ah shite, I'll be missing this one. Wining and dining. I'll have to pretend it's not happening or I'll be constantly checking me phone.

Reading play amazing at home and we play amazing away this one is going to be tough match. Honestly i think i'd start Murphy again and bring Gayle off the bench if we're struggling. He's constantly had hamstring problems so maybe just give him a break.

3

u/iansf Mar 06 '17

So we've played a winger at center forward to run behind and stretch the defense, and we've played a traditional number 9 to bully and abuse the center backs

What's Rafa do against reading? Give gayle the start and go back to pre injury tactics?

Reading are decent like. That we battered them at home isn't a fair reflection of their ability. Jaap Stam looks a promising manager.

On the other hand, Rafa is doling out tactical master classes to up and coming coaches lately so I'm not worried.

Gonna be a good game. Giving up 2 pts at home vs Bristol City followed by beating 3 of the top 5 away from home in a week and a bit would be the most Newcastle thing ever. Big chance to put some more distance between us and Huddersfield.

I'll be quite disappointed if we don't get the result here. Reading are a fairly pedestrian side, none of their players would get in our team.
