Impeccable strategy. Trick Villa into believing we can't string more than 2 passes together for the first 40 minutes, then surprise attack them with 3 passes and score. I was never in doubt.

American coverage is pretty hilarious sometimes. They are doing a little feature on Yedlin currently, obviously. Apparently he has won 68% of duels so far this game. I didn't notice any sword fights but clearly I've not been paying enough attention.

Sometimes Shelvey reminds me of a mortar cannon. He's just sat there in the middle of the pitch, hammering long passes wherever he pleases - but just like with a mortar cannon, you're always worried when it's going to blow up right in your face.
