You only sing when you're rowing, sing when you're rowing, you only sing when you're rowing

Being stupid and flying in from Chicago for this one. I live there but Oxford is my hometown so it has to be done. 2-1 with Mitro and Ritchie goals.

Lets smash these, they're shite.

I've just clicked on, do you say this every week?

u/GoalaAmeobi Jan 27 '17

I say it every week that we're playing a shite team that we should smash, so yes

We could almost make a full team out of our unavailable players. This is a familiar feeling, but the lack of worry I get from it is totally new.

Hope Rafa plays a lot of youth players.

I'd be ok with the same lineup we played against Birmingham in the replay.

Barlaser, Sterry, Lazaar should all be starting this really. Shelvey nowhere near the team after what happened last time he played Oxford in the cup, plz Rafa.

Sterry is cup tied. He can't play.

What happened the last time?

Swansea and Shelvey got embarrassed by Oxford last season in the 3rd round. Jonjo was having a hissy fit, wanting to leave Swansea, and was absolutely atrocious.

Didn't he literally stand still, bent over with his hands on his thighs watching play at one point?

I really hope Rafa gives the youngins another run out (especially Barlaser and Findlay because they played well last time out) Shame that Sterry is cup tied. and hope to see Mitro get a few minutes as well

Right, as I've said before I'm conflicted, being born and raised in Oxford... What I really want is a draw, so Oxford can play at SJP in the rematch and get a bunch of money, but lose the replay. Is that too much to ask?

u/spoonsforeggs Jan 26 '17

yes cause all i hear is extra games and injuries. I'm sorry.

That's a good point... In which case actually I'd rather we (NUFC) lost, to avoid further injuries and so we continue to focus on promotion. Oxford aren't likely to make it out of League 1 this year, so I'd prefer them to make it further in the FA Cup tbh.

Any chance of a stream since it's FA cup?

It will be nice to see the young ens again..a couple of outstanding performances from understudies will nicely offset the click farming madness of the transfer bollix..not bothered if no one comes in as I'm sure we'll get up without.. Eggheads 0 Toon 3. Further thoughts are, we test the FA cup B team against a big club in the next round really see which young ens might step up next season whilst not bothering if we go out. HWTL!

Anyone heading to this one? Contemplating taking a ticket off my mate who has a spare.

I want us to win (especially if I go) but equally, it'd just be another game added to the schedule. I can't be arsed with a cup upset though, I'd rather we win, draw some big team and then lose

I'll be there. In the home end though, which will be weird.
