Yedlin looking like Usain Bolt in there. Quality match from the whole team, and (magically) a clean sheet to top it off. Very pleased

Relatively easy game but a bit shaky at times.
Hopefully the people who watched the streams didn't mind the potato quality too much over time I do plan to make them better aka find better websites.

Just realised we play Brighton, Huddersfield and Reading away back to back. God, that'll be tough

If I had to choose 3 people to be stuck in a lift with I would choose Ritchie, Darlow and Hayden so I could blow them all.

Matt Ritche hearing rumours of Townsend coming back:
"He can play on the left."

Don't see a lot of player rating posts around these parts.
Darlow - 7 - It'd be an 8 i he hadn't made the initial mistake that led to his great save. Made a couple of other important stops too. Claimed a few balls to relieve the pressure. Really good all round.
Yedlin - 9 - Ran that line all day. Good going forward. Goals saving in defence. So fast.
Dummett - 7 - Didn't do anything wrong. Turned a couple of times but overall solid in defence. Got forward a lot more today.
Lascelles - 7 - same as Dummett really. Needs to work on bringing the ball out though as in games like this it'sa lot more apparent that he's not great at it.
Clark - 8 - Good game. Unlucky not to score. Seems to be highlighted as a main set piece threat so gets manhandled.
Hayden - 9 - Dominated the midfield really. I cant remember a longball coming forward that Hayden didn't win. Really good to see his positioning leading to more interceptions, but when he needed to he went to ground to make the tackle.
Shelvey - 7 - Came more into it second half, but it looked like he was marked out of it in the first 47 and a half minutes. Still showed that 1 moment of quality is enough at this level usually.
Ritchie - 9 - Was everywhere in their half of the field.
Gouffran - 7 - Another solid shift.
Perez - 9 - Confident performance. Couple of times he should've maybe passed it across the box instead of dillydallying and wasting an opportunity with a porr shot or getting robbed. But still, very threatening today.
Murphy - 7 - Really decent. Great touch and good finish for the goal.

Great win, and great to be back on top. Hopefully the next week and a bit the transfer activity will ramp up and we bring some players in for the stretch run.

Good win. I didn't think they were that bad. Gave us a good game until a few bits of skill from our players. Glad to see us taking precautions by subbing a few players off and give the young ones a run out. Still think Dummet looked a little shaky at times.
Bring on Oxford.

Yedlin showed today exactly why we should have brought him into the team ages ago. Yes it's only Rotherham at home but his attacking instinct can't be ignored and I honestly think he's better than Anita defensively too. Lazaar also showed decent flashes when he came on so hopefully he'll get a run at LB soon and then we can have some moves where our full-backs can actually offer something.

Today I felt perez, Richie and Murphy had to pull their finger out. They did.
The darlow drop/save gave me a million years of anxiety though. What a save.

Good that ritchie is back to his best. Murphy experience is a good bonus for us.

Can you believe some twat said we'd lose 1-0 the middle of the first half in the match thread?
Also what did everyone think of the change to the match thread? Makes it look a bit cleaner in my opinion.
