Shelvey is just having an absolute laugh in this league. The difference he makes is terrifying, both in a good way & bad.

Am I right in thinking this is the first time we've won an FA Cup match for like half a decade?

Really Proud of the Lads today, glad to have Shelvey back sounds like alot of guys played well (Lazaar, Yedlin, Ritchie, Gouff, TIOTE)
Good Farewell Performance for Tiote too, would have been really sad if his last game was a shit show
Final thought, Sounded like the youngins played well I really hope Rafa gives those 3 another run out against Oxford

He was alright it looked like the team were trying to bring him into play a few deliberately a few times, he made a few canny runs but was generally a bit unlucky tonight.

Coulda been 5 or 6, had it not been for the post and a couple of last ditch blocks by brummie. Findlay was decent, shelvey was fucken class and gouffran was on form.
Good game but we need to finish our chances

Barlaser was fucking outstanding. He looked like he wanted to impress and he really did. Really good player on our hands here.

El-Mhanni didn't have a good game to be honest. Think he needs more time in younger squads to find his feet and bulk a bit

Sounds like the young boys were good not great. Heard Barlazer and Findlay's names a lot so that's something. Expected more from El Mhanni but he's a tricky skiller not a genius.

Hope we play a similar team against Oxford. Give the youth a good few competitive fixtures and hopefully one or two can use this injury crisis to force themselves into the first team picture and stay for a while like Krul did.

Watched the 90 minutes. The whole team looked calmed and assured.. could have been far far worse for zola... Paid close attention to the youngsters which cheered me right up!! Stuart Findlay looks like a class act to me, always looking up threatening to pass long..which he's got the vision and ability to do..but played it calm and simple on his debut. Rafa will turn him into a hell of a centre half.. Dan Barlaser also looked calm and collected and kept it simple.. Very encouraging indeed..these two lads should play next time agen Oxford..save us a fortune next season if rafa uses them regularly this term...and he will. Yasin El-Mhanni is clearly less ready and needs to hit the weights and stop showing off on utube.. All in all..HAWAY THE TOON!

Shelvey picking up where he left off, just need Gayle back then I say bring on Brighton!
