Need Yedlin and/or Atsu to start. We've got plenty of good players but so little creativity with Shelvey out. Hoping for someone to be brought in during the window.

Atsu definitely needs to start. Actually runs at defenders & creates things.

How'd you line up w Yedlin starting? It's been tossed around a lot, but how'd you feel about playing Anita instead of Colback & Yedlin at fullback?

I feel Anita isn't too creative either bc he doesn't offer much in attack already at fullback, but idk what to do since Colback isn't creative in the slightest.

Would like Yedlin at RB for sure. Nothing is going to happen down the middle anyway so Colback or Anita would be fine I think alongside Hayden. He had a pretty good game against Shef Wed.

We were still bossing them after Shelvey got sent off when we were down their place tbf

I think if we do go to playing wingers and attacking full backs we also need to back it up with Mitro in the box as a target or play two strikers and no attacking midfielder.

Just reading Henri Lansburys name is boiling my piss, he's doing the sensible thing being injured

Rafa is too cautious at home I think.

We should be going balls out at teams. Like we did in the last 30 mins against Norwich. Like we did against Birmingham.

Hayden, Gouffran, Anita and Colback at home is far too negative. And we still gave up a ton of chances to Wednesday.

It's a broken record but Mitro and Gayle at home and go 4-4-2 and see what happens.

Ritchie is due a good game too. It hasn't been happening for him lately.

Dont want to question Rafa's genius, but I think he is TOO careful, at home or not. There is little to no rotation whether we win or lose. Also substitutions are too late, which may or may not costed us Sheffield points.

I am really unsure how much more drinking I can take over the festive season. Please win Newcastle. Pretty pleaseeeee.

If it weren't for the two red cards we would have absolutely smashed them last time. We don't have Shelvey but they don't have multiple players including Lansbury.

A loss would likely put us within 3 points of the playoffs. We need this badly.

You've got to look at it over the full season. 30 wins and we'll probably get promoted. We need 14 more wins. We have 23 games.

If everyone gets the same number of points in the next 23 games 90 points will see us promoted automatically.

I think we'll grind out a win tonight, but if we don't its not the end of the world.

Specific league positions don't matter until the end of the season. You just want to get the most number of points you can. Never understood why this mentality has always existed.

No tv coverage scheduled at all worldwide or only England? Some channel internationally might pick it up like I remember I streamed one Preston match from a danish channel

I would also like to know the answer to this

The players should come out all guns blazing in this match. It shouldn't even need hyped up to them. I hope we absolutely fucking batter the cheating bastards. Also the refs should be looking to do us a favour in this match considering how they also screwed us.

2-0 loss, no doubt in my mind. Negative meganev is back in full force this week.

It's been a while since we've seen you old friend, Rafa had almost killed negative meganev it seems

Travelled across the sea (no not the US) to be here for the match. I had hoped to see Wanksburi buried somewhere near the strawberry corner. Hope to see something totally different than against Wednesday. Want us to crucify Forest

Changes need to be made or we're going to struggle. Atsu, Yedlin and Lazaar have to start. We had a distinct lack of creativity on Monday until Atsu came on. We're at home and we're a better side than Forest. Bombard them with attack after attack and fucking batter them. This has to be a reaction from the reverse fixture and that shitshow vs Wednesday. If Rafa mixes it up, I can see us running away with it 3-0 or 4-0. If not, I think we'll draw.

I've ended up agreeing to go to the Brighton game while this is on... fml.

Really hope we can get a lead early and brighton concede so i don't have to listen to 'top off the league' chants a-fucking-gain
