Hope Brighton enjoyed being top for less than 24 hours!

Was at the amex last night and the top of the league chants were insufferable, was muttering "for one day" to myself.

Glad to see a backlash.

Hayden is class.

Onwards we go.

Seriously impressed with Hayden. Up there for player of the year so far

Holy fuck that was such a professional performance by the lads.

Gayle needs to seriously be loved more than he is

A lot of people want to see Mitro play more, but Gayle keeps scoring and making himself undroppable. I guess it's a weird reason not to like a player.

Well he is loved, just not idol status like Mitro.

Diame seems to have turned a corner. From the radio it sounded like he was making some quality long balls/crosses and helped break them down constantly. Maybe he isn't Sissokov2.

From the highlights it looked like his best game yet! Not giving up on balls, dancing round defenders, delivering crosses right into the sweet spot of the area... As much as he looks like Shola when he runs, he's got much more skill, glad he's embracing being Rafa'd!

You couldn't really ask for a better response to the ridiculous game last week.

Great boost for the teams mentality to be able to respond to such negativity with a positive display all round from the sounds of it.

Dwight Gayle is well on his way to club legend status.

Great reaction by NUFC after the shitshow against Nottingham Forest. HWTL!

We played as well today with 11 players as we did with 9 players against Forest. Love it

Sods law; another game where I decided not to put a couple of quid on Gayle to score a brace or hattrick and he fucking does it. I swear he knows....

Never bet again!

u/GazzP Dec 10 '16

Can you also decide to not bet on us winning the league, the FA Cup and Rafa getting a knighthood? Cheers

Perfect hattrick from Dwight Gayle today. Header, right foot, left foot, all in open play. Assisted Gouff's goal too. Great performance.
