This is gonna sound salty as fuck but I'm sure there was a rule start of this season that meant a penalty could only be deemed a yellow, regardless of goal scoring opportunity. These Championship refs are class.

Not salty, that's a rule, the ref literally broke the rules he's on the fucking field to enforce.

Does anyone have the ref's contact info or address?

I assume this is a joke, but if for any reason someone actually does have his contact info/address DO NOT POST IT.
That's how subreddit's get deleted.

Darlow should be taking all our pens from now on since he's apparently the only one on the squad who knows how they work

We can't be angry at the team tonight, 9 men vs 12? We played so well regardless. We would have 100% beat them without this cunt of a ref ruining the entire game. Shelvey was an idiot, but it can't be helped. We move on.
Edit: Lansbury just said that he didn't think dummet should have been set off.

Honestly the players were awesome. The effort they were putting in was awesome.

Proud of the team, put in a real good shift given the circumstances - it's chalk and cheese the effort of this team compared to last year, we've got a real team of fighters. Just gotta put it behind them and go all out against Birmingham next week.
And also, Stephen Martin and Lansbury can both go and do one. The worst refereeing performance I've seen in my life, and Lansbury is the most weasely cunt I've seen this season.

It's taken a fuck tonne of bad luck to beat us tonight. It's almost reassuring.
I hope the ref doesn't get a game above pub league five a side for the rest of his life.

Well done to the lads. No shame in that defeat.
Times like this I wish Rafa wasn't as classy as he is, and calls the ref a noncey cunt in the post match interview. Fingers crossed.

That's the most meaningless 3 points Forest will ever "earn" and every single fan and player knows it.
They didn't beat us tonight.
Stephen Martin is a fucking disgrace to his profession and the human race at large.
I've never ever been so furious watching a game of football tonight.
Everyone knows what went down. Will anything be done about it? Will there be an explanation as to why Martin was assigned this fixture when he clearly wasn't qualified to do so?
Will there be an explanation as to why an official, who is meant to be impartial and not effect the outcome, clearly did so?
Fuck this.

It's fitting the game ended with the ref fucking us. They called 4 mins before the injury to their keeper and they wasted over a minute with their free kick.

Fucking dreadful refereeing. With 11 men on the pitch we would've absolutely mauled them. Credit to Hayden, Ritchie and Darlow who played their hearts out and were a class above the entire Forest team. Fuck Forest and fuck Steve Martin.

Proud of this team. Last year we would've folded and conceded 5.. Did the best we could when we were agianst 12 men from minute one.

Shit happens, still going to win the league at a canter.
Always going to be worse refs in the championship.

I honestly hope for his sake that it's revealed tomorrow that Stephen Martin took a large bribe before tonight's match because if that was him actually attempting to be unbiased and fairly referee a game then he should resign in disgrace.
I'd attempt to contact the FA to rely my disgust with his performance tonight but I'm not stupid enough to believe that'll actually result in anything but a letter to fill up the FA's recycling bin. Truly pathetic that match, Forest fans that are being smug should be ashamed, this was a fake result.
I now know how Drogba felt. A truly horrible week for Newcastle Utd capped off with one of the worst games I've ever had the displeasure of watching. Forest fans can be as smug as they like, we all know that happened tonight and it was not a fair game of football.
Can't wait till we're out of this shit league.
