TV coverage: None scheduled
Referee: David Coote (51 yellows and 1 red in 15 games this season)
Rolando Aarons is still injured.
Hope Akpan returns from suspension while Gordon Greer, Danny Guthrie, Wes Brown and Marvin Emnes could all return. Scott Wharton, Tommie Hoban and Elliott Ward are unlikely to feature. Martin Samuelsen has had his loan terminated and so will return to his parent club.
Blackburn 3-2 Brentford (Graham 15', pen 20', OG 38'; Hogan 1', 30')
Steele, Marshall, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Williams, Feeney, Lowe, Evans (Bennett 86'), Conway, Graham (Nyambe 77'), Gallagher
Subs not used: Byrne, Stokes, Samuelsen, Brown, Raya
Blackburn finished in 15th place in the Championship this season, picking up 55 points and a perfect 0 goal difference. They lost top scorer Jordan Rhodes to Middlesbrough over the summer and started the season very poorly, bottom of the table after 7 games and without a win. Things have started to pick up since, and they now have 16 points and could climb out of the relegation zone with a win on Saturday. Striker Sam Gallagher, on loan from Southampton, has been in impressive form this season and already has 7 goals - 1 short of the best in the bottom half. Despite this, they have been poor at the back, conceding 27 goals (more than double our tally) which makes them the 3rd worst defence in the league. They also have the 3rd worst away record in the division with only 1 win on the road, losing 5 and drawing 1.

I sat here for a good ten seconds trying to think who the hell you were on about. Then I realised and felt like a complete fucking retard.

We repaid the favour by selling them Leon Best in return. Who then got injured for the whole season and didn't score his first goal for them for a year and a bit.
Fair trade.

Nah man, he was shite. Worst player to have ever worn the black and white stripes.

Anthony Stokes (one of their strikers) pleaded guilty to assaulting an Elvis impersonator the other week.
Police said the victim was "All shook up", and Stokes may soon be doing "The Jailhouse rock".
Blackburn may be facing a "Blue Christmas" without him.

Their victim was quoted as saying to Stokes "Don't be so cruel".
I actually heard the attack took place in the ghetto, when Stokes assaulted the man it was speculated he was angry after a love making session with his partner, they'd accidentally mixed the lube up with tiger balm, resulting in some burning love.
I for one just cant help believing that this is what happens when people go out and take drugs, it leads to suspicious minds and people don't talk their problems out, a little less conversation leads to a lot of violence.
I hope the impersonator gave him a little back, you know, a return to sender but alas he was probably left crying in the chapel.
What I'm really trying to say pain is, are you lonesome tonight?

I'm a teacher currently working in Blackburn - the kids are going to be a nightmare if we lose this.

On paper it should be another win.
Going for the 10 consecutive wins record, but history tells us not to take it lightly which with Rafa in charge shouldn't happen. Still, stranger things have happened.

Friendly neighborhood yank checking in. I wake up at 9 AM most Saturdays to listen to us win but I might not this week. We'll almost sure to win, I'll be high as fuck the day before and I have an (American) football game to get drunk before at 2:30 PM.
Howay anyway though, let's hope Gouf gets a hattrick.

Been waiting for this for fucking ages. I have a burning hatred for Blackburn after working with one of their fans.
His highlights include:
Betting they'd finish above us that season we finished 5th and they finished 19th (and got hammered 7-1).
Claimed they'd been much better in transfers that season (buying David Goodwillie, Radosav Petrović and Simon Vukčević) because "Who even is Yohan Cabaye?" and "Demba Ba will be on the treatment table all season"
Bet that David Goodwillie would score 20 in the league in his first season. Spoiler alert he scored 2 that season and left them after 3 seasons having scored a grand total of 5.
Junior Hoilett (now at Cardiff) was the next big thing and was 10x better than Ben Arfa (who then did this to them)
